| BEST BIG BRO!! |
Now you know! We are excited to announce that Baby Schaffer #2 will be joining us around June 2nd! For those of you already doing the math, I am 13 weeks. We are so happy and and excited about our new little addition!
Some of you know how sick I was was with Everett (meaning I was throwing up every single night for 8 of the 9 months of my pregnancy). It's strange, but I don't get morning sickness. I get evening sickness. I was hoping that things would be different with subsequent pregnancies, but unfortunately that hasn't been the case so far. I have tried EVERYTHING imaginable to help with my evening sickness. TRUST ME. I have. No one likes throwing up every single night. I've tried taking vitamins B12 and B6 (which are supposed to help with nausea and vomiting), I have tried taking anti-nausua meds that my doctor gave me, I have tried camomile tea and ginger, I have had 3 acupuncture treatments...and so far nothing has worked. BUT, that's ok. I still have hope that maybe it'll get better in a few weeks! :)
What is strange is that my sickness strikes like clockwork. I get sick promptly between 7:30 and 8:00pm. (It used to be between 8:30 and 9:00pm until the time change happened.:)) So if any of you see us ducking out of Wednesday night Youth Group, or basketball games, or get together's that last past 7:30pm--- PLEASE don't be offended. I just have to leave to go throw up. :)
We will be finding out if we are having a boy or a girl. I like surprises, but if it turns out we will be having a girl I will definitely be shopping differently than if we are having another boy! Maybe for the next one (if we end up already having one of each gender) we will just be surprised. :)
Anyway, that's our exciting news! Thanks for reading!
