Our Baby Boy :)

Not that you all haven't heard already, but I thought I would share on my blog that we are having a BOY!!
I'm really excited! It will be so fun to watch Everett enjoy a little brother!  I am officially outnumbered that is for sure! I am so blessed. Little boys are so much fun...so this must mean we will have DOUBLE the fun in our house. Haha!
It was so AMAZING to see our little boy in the ultrasound. He was moving ALL OVER the place. He was so energetic. It was also kind of funny because he kept putting his arm up over his face-which is EXACTLY what Everett did when we had his 20 week ultrasound. They apparently get their dislike for pictures from their Daddy. :)
I found out though, that if you are super chatty with your ultrasound tech they give you tons of pictures! I was just babbling away to our ultrasound lady and ooo-ing and ahh-ing over the different pictures that she just kept hitting 'print'. It was awesome. So I have about 16 pictures of our little guy- literally!
Everything with baby and with me looked healthy- which we are very thankful for and don't take for granted. We are so blessed by our Heavenly Father.
Here are a few more pictures from our ultrasound. :)

All curled up :)

Hope you all have a great day!

Moments of Merriness Revisited and Updates

Well, I feel like I have been DREADFULLY behind on my blog. Lots of things happen and I think, "Oh! I should make sure to blog about that!"...and then I don't ever do it! I know. It's dumb. Anyway, things should slow down in a couple of months making it easier for me to keep up with things on here. :)

So I'm coming back to my "Moment of Merriness" posts. I haven't done one of these in a while and something happened the other day that I have to share.
Everett was in the tub getting is bath. Everett's biggest crisis is having to get out of the tub. He LOVES his baths. He had already been in there for about 25 minutes. Every time that Tyler asked Ev if he wanted out Ev would shake his head adamantly and say no. At one point during the bath Tyler walked away for less than a minute and apparently Ev found the small bar of soap that was sitting on the ledge of the tub. Tyler came back found a huge eyed Everett. Everett started sputtering and coughed a few times. Tyler said his demeanor had completely changed. Tyler asked if Everett wanted out of the tub and Ev immediately said a pitiful yes. Tyler went to get Ev out and saw at the bottom of the tub about a inch of soap with teeth marks on it. Apparently Everett thought the soap looked pretty tasty. :) Tyler started laughing and said, "And that is why you should never swear, Everett." Haha! Made me laugh!

Anyway, just as an update on our lives...since I've been very bad about keeping up on my blog...
Tyler has been keeping really busy lately with basketball practices and games and obviously teaching school.  I find that basketball season isn't nearly as "lonely" for me now that Everett is with me. :) Even if it is the company of an almost 2 year old, it's better than being by yourself at night. :)
I've been keeping busy tutoring 5 days a week, teaching choir, and watching after Ev. Yup, pretty normal stuff. :)

We had a great Christmas spent with family. My parents came here to Twin and then later Tyler, Ev, and I went to Utah to be with Tyler's side of the family. Ev had a great time playing in the snow (basically for the first time ever because last year Twin got hardly any snow at all) and he also had a great time with his cousins.

Well, we find out in 5 days if we are having a boy or a girl! I'm super excited! I can't wait to be able to decorate the new baby's room and get things out and organized! I know that I could have done some of that before now, but I find that the last months go faster if I have fun things to do to occupy my time...rather than just twiddling my thumbs. :)

Well, just thought I would share a few pictures from the last couple of months. Hope you all have a great day!
